How AI Creates Job Alerts

What a Job Alert contains, how your team reviews it, and why manual confirmation keeps you in control of the diary.

From phone call to Job Alert

When the AI finishes a call, it does not push a booking straight into your diary. Instead, it compiles everything the caller said into a Job Alert — a structured summary your team can act on. This is deliberate: you know your ramp capacity, which jobs need longer than expected, and which customers need a callback before confirming.

What a Job Alert includes

  • Caller name and phone number
  • Vehicle registration
  • Service or repair requested (MOT, interim service, brakes, etc.)
  • Preferred date and time if the caller gave one
  • Any notes from the conversation (e.g. warning light, urgency)
  • Timestamp and call recording link if enabled

Your team confirms manually

A Job Alert lands in your AskMike dashboard (or however you receive notifications). Your team checks the diary, confirms the slot works, and either books the work or calls the customer back if the date needs adjusting. The caller was told during the call that your team would confirm — so there are no surprises.

Why not auto-book?

Automatic diary booking sounds efficient, but it causes problems fast: double-booked ramps, jobs booked without checking parts availability, and customers turning up for work you cannot fit in. Manual confirmation takes seconds and prevents the awkward phone calls that follow a bad auto-book.
