Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of AskMike at askmike.uk and related services. By creating an account or using AskMike, you agree to these Terms.
2. The service
AskMike provides software that helps independent garages create a professional website, take online bookings, manage customers and use optional paid add-ons such as Review Assistant and Customer Reminders. Features may change over time as we improve the platform.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans and add-ons are billed through Stripe on a recurring subscription basis unless stated otherwise. Prices, billing intervals and included features are shown at checkout or in your dashboard.
- AskMike Pro is the base subscription required for core platform access.
- Add-ons such as Review Assistant and Customer Reminders are billed on the same subscription where enabled.
- Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law.
- We may change prices with reasonable notice for future billing periods.
5. Your content and customer data
You retain ownership of content and customer information you upload or collect through AskMike. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, transmit and process that content solely to provide the service.
You are responsible for ensuring your use of AskMike complies with applicable laws, including data protection rules and SMS/email marketing requirements when contacting your customers.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use AskMike for unlawful, misleading or harmful purposes.
- Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without permission.
- Upload malware, spam or content that infringes third-party rights.
- Reverse engineer or resell the service except as expressly permitted.
- Use SMS or email features to send unsolicited or unlawful messages.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep AskMike available and reliable, but the service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Maintenance, third-party outages or events outside our control may occasionally affect availability.
8. Intellectual property
AskMike, its branding, software and documentation remain our property or that of our licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the platform itself.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AskMike shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities. Our total liability arising from the service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to AskMike in that period, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
10. Suspension and termination
You may cancel subscriptions through your dashboard or billing provider as applicable. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or if continued provision would create legal or security risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends, but sections that by nature should survive will continue to apply.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use of AskMike after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
