SMS usage and limits

How Customer Reminders uses SMS credits, what counts towards your allowance and how to buy more.

Included SMS allowance

Customer Reminders includes 100 SMS messages per billing period. This covers booking confirmations, 24-hour reminders, cancellation notices and MOT due alerts.

What uses an SMS

  • Booking confirmation when a customer books online or you confirm a job
  • Reminder sent the day before an appointment
  • Cancellation message when a booking is cancelled
  • MOT due reminder to customers with an MOT date on record

If you need more SMS

SMS packs can be added from Billing in your dashboard. Packs are charged separately and do not roll unused messages into the next period for the base allowance.
